Concert-goers enjoy summer music in Moulton

JUBILEE celebrations were extended in Moulton as St Stephen’s Church held a summer concert.
An audience of 100 people enjoyed performances by the Bostock Singers and by musicians from Sir John Deane’s College.
The choir sang from their varied repertoire of gospel, jazz, classical, popular standards and the musicals, while students Laurence and Ralf Sparks
played piano and violin and Callum Wilson played the tuba between programme sections.
The Bostock Singers accompanist Peter Drew also played his part with a piece from Schumann.
The finale of the concert was a moving performance of the very popular One Day More from Les Miserables.
The evening finished with a reception in the church hall.
Money raised on the night will be split between the church and Church Hall Association of Moulton Parish
