In February 2025 we competed in the Mrs Sunderland Performing Arts Festival in Huddersfield. Huddersfield Mrs Sunderland Festival is one of the largest festivals in the country, attracting well over 4000 performers during its eleven day event in Huddersfield Town Hall with many hundreds more in audiences.

We competed in three classes:

Class 87 Adult / Mixed Aged Choir
Wannabe
Fix You
Result: 2nd Place, Honours (85-89 points)

Class 91 Adult / Mixed Aged Mixed Voice Choir 21 voices or over
Mr Blue Sky
The Lily and the Rose
Result: 3rd Place, Outstanding (90-94 points)

Class 92 Choir Programme - open to choirs in classes 86-91
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Seal Lullaby
Result: Outstanding (90-94 points)

Although it's disappointing not to win a class, we are super proud of and pleased with our performance, and we had fantastic feedback from the judge, audience members, other choirs and event staff members.

Plus, we had a great weekend away together, staying in a hotel in Bradford!
